Testing Optitrack & Hololens – Quander.io

A while ago working at Quander.io I had the chance to play around with Optitrack, motion capturing a soccer ball.

We used 3 cameras, and even if they weren’t enough to track properly the ball (stuck with markers) we achieved pretty good results and we were able to track the ball in the 3D virtual world of Unity.

The next step was to show special effects around the ball wearing Hololens! But unfortunately we didn’t have much time to spend on this prototype.
