Elise Rainier (actress Lin Shaye) acts as your guide to the horrors of the afterlife, as you navigate the Further’s darkest reaches in this chilling VR experience. It doesn’t last very long, but it’s very well done and it’s genuinely terrifying.
Although the experience is very short, Sisters is a great demonstration of how the immersion of VR can make horror games even more frightening. You’ll find yourself in a room, with two dolls on the mantelpiece. It’s important to look around you, 360° to notice more details. Paired with Google Cardboard and headphones, it felt like I was there.

It’s a horror game that starts you out in the dark with nothing but a flashlight. The whole experience is quite short but the use of sound is fantastic, giving you real palpitations.
